What are the signs and symptoms of Salmonella and Salmonellosis to be on the lookout for ? The clinical presentation and history is generally one of a bacterial disease characterized and manifested by acute enterrocolitis with sudden headache , sudden onset of headache, abdominal pain and pains, diarrhea, naseau and sometimes vomiting. Dehydration , especially among infants or the elderly may be severe. Fever almost is always present. Anorexhia and diarhea often persist for day. Infection may occur and develop into blood poisioning or infections . Deaths are uncommon , except in the very young, the very old , the debilitated and the immunosuppressed in such as in A.I.D.S. .
